Hebrew keyboard with vowel points

Type Hebrew without installing anything: with the Israeli layout or with each letter on the key that sounds like it. Add the vowel points in one tap, see how it reads, and copy it into your homework or a message.

Vowel points

How to use it

  • Israeli keyboard: the letters sit where an Israeli keyboard has them, so what you learn here works on any computer in Israel. Your own keyboard types them too: E is ק, T is א, and so on.
  • By sound: each letter is on the key that sounds like it: B is ב, D is ד, X is ח, W is ש. A capital (Shift) gives the second letter for the same sound: T is ת and Shift+T is ט, K is כ and Shift+K is ק. The final forms (ך ם ן ף ץ) appear by themselves at the end of a word.
  • Vowel points: type the letter, then tap the point; tap it again to take it off. The point always goes on the letter before the cursor.
  • Listen: when what you typed is a word the site knows (a verb, a word from a root or a topic, a name), the Listen button says it.
