Numbers in Hebrew
Every Hebrew number has two forms: one for feminine nouns and one for masculine nouns. When you count (one, two, three…), read a price or give a phone number, you use the feminine form: it is the big one below. The masculine form is written under it, in small.
After ten the numbers are built: אַחַת־עֶשְׂרֵה (11), עֶשְׂרִים וְאַחַת (21), מֵאָה וְעֶשֶׂר (110).
