Telling the time in Hebrew
To ask the time: מָה הַשָּׁעָה? The answer uses the feminine number: הַשָּׁעָה שָׁלוֹשׁ, it's three o'clock; “half past” is וָחֵצִי, “a quarter past” וָרֶבַע.
