בְּ with endings: בִּי, בְּךָ, בּוֹ, בָּהּ

Some verbs carry ב before their object: מִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בְּ «use», מַאֲמִין בְּ «believe in», נוֹגֵעַ בְּ «touch», בּוֹחֵר בְּ «choose», מְטַפֵּל בְּ «take care of», נִזְכָּר בְּ «remember». When the object is a pronoun, the ב takes the endings of לִי: בִּי, בְּךָ, בָּךְ, בּוֹ, בָּהּ, בָּנוּ, בָּכֶם, בָּהֶם.

So «I use it» is אֲנִי מִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בּוֹ (a masculine thing) or בָּהּ (a feminine one), never אוֹתוֹ: where English says «it», Hebrew says «in it». «We believe in you» is אֲנַחְנוּ מַאֲמִינִים בָּכֶם. The same lesson brings כְּדֵי «in order to»: בָּאתִי כְּדֵי לִלְמֹד, «I came to study».

How do you say «I use it» in Hebrew?
אֲנִי מִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בּוֹ, or בָּהּ if the thing is feminine. מִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ takes בְּ, not אֶת.
How do you ask a woman «do you remember me?»
אַתְּ נִזְכֶּרֶת בִּי? נִזְכָּר takes בְּ, and «me» is בִּי.
